One birthday and two new workshops

This week we celebrate the first birthday of our YouTube Club, and we are also announcing two brand new workshops, which are available to buy on the website now.

The Delivering Workshops workshop

A slight mouthful of a name, I know, but having been asked by a couple of followers about the potential to deliver a workshop on this topic, this is now in the diary for 27th February (online.)

If you run a small business, holding workshops can be a great way to increase income. Join me on this workshop and I’ll help you consider steps to take before offering workshops and I will give you the confidence to share your creative skills with your clients in a way which will inspire and enable them and increase your income.

A Bee and Pollinator Walk with Jean Vernon 

Join us at the farm on 8th May for this very special event and learn more about the bees and pollinators you can find in your garden. 

Join Bee champion, author and award winning writer, Jean Vernon, for a bees and pollinator walk around the gardens of Common Farm Flowers and Jean will introduce you to some of our fabulous bumblebees and solitary bees and will help you to understand how to garden to support all of our bees and other essential pollinators.

All the proceeds from this session will go to charity. 

Our First Birthday

This week we mark the first birthday of our YouTube Club. Since launching the club last January, I have been thrilled with the community that has grown and evolved as part of the membership. It has been an unexpected bonus of setting up the club and one that I am enjoying enormously. 

If you aren't yet in the club and are curious to know more, then do join us - even if just for one month to see if it's for you. There's no long term commitment - you can dip in and out of the club as often as you want, but hopefully you will like it and will choose to stay. 

So what benefits do our club members enjoy? 

1. A fairly new club member benefit is a 10% discount on all website orders, which means club membership (just £8.99 a month) can more than pay for itself if you are thinking of booking onto a workshop or two. 
2. Regular Live At Five sessions - we've held 30(ish) of these in the last 12 months (all of which are available to new members to catch up on.) Topics are usually suggested by club members and vary in content - from some that might specifically suit other flower farmers, but many are more generic in their focus - and we are always open to suggestions for different topics. 
3. Behind the scenes, exclusive footage and info about Common Farm Flowers - mostly focused on the development of our new flower studio at the moment. 
4. All our YouTube content is posted 'ad-free' for YouTube club members, the clips are often a little longer for members and are posted before the general clips, plus there is no mention of 'buying me a coffee'!
5. Be part of our informal Clubbers Book Club - where we are starting to share our favourite reads, often gardening or nature related, but not always! 
6. Occasional special discounts with our trusted colleagues - so for example, we currently have a discount code for members with UK seed seller extraordinaire Higgledy Garden. 

As well as all of the above, you will be a part of a lovely, supportive, generous community and I would love to see you there too if you'd like to join.
